    LOL the picture.

I would say our budget stayed pretty much the same the whole time, but the contributors changed. His parents were going to help, but ended up not being able to. So luckily my parents agreed to 'fill the gap' so we didn't have to cut the bar budget.

I was very happy/surprised we stayed almost perfectly on budget. (Within $1,000)

Never, we set a budget and we are sticking to it. We have went over in some areas but saved in others.

We haven’t really. We’ve stuck pretty close to our 15k budget.

Zero times! We have been VERY strict with ourselves on keeping costs down. Minor things have been altered, but the overall budget itself hasn't changed one bit!

I love that idea of brunch! I love breakfast food and I am a morning person but my fiancé wanted to stick to more “traditional” wedding if you’d call it that, and wasn’t really willing to budge so we found other areas to compromise on.

A couple times, mostly just moved the money around (added more to the photographer budget and cut some from the videographer)

A little here and there. Certain vendors were more expensive than we budgeted, so then we tried to cut down in other places!

We had no idea the cost of some wedding items. Even when I tell someone I want to spend less on my dress or my photography, so many opinions race about how I should worry to much about budget. My fiancé and I both prioritized getting out of this wedding debt free. With us, we were ably to keep it a little lower because we are around 80 people and having a brunch Smiley smile.

Ours started around $10,000 as well, I actually had this crazy idea that we could pull off a backyard wedding for less than $5,000 and kudos to those who do! It just wasn't for us and our 140+ family guest list... so our budget jumped to $25,000 including the honeymoon which just sounds insane but that's once we got actual numbers and realized how expensive wedding planning can be.

We are currently under our budget! We don't plan on spending more than what we can afford to pay in cash. Also! Our parents are helping out a lot so we will only end up spending maybe $2,000 of our own money for the honeymoon / my hair, lashes, makeup, nails. etc

Mine went from 10000 including the honeymoon (o how wrong i was). We raised it to 12000 and we are currently sitting at 14000 with no honey Moon. I feel like it could have been worse but we are still trying to save where we can.

Ugh, we had to keep upping it once we discovered what things actually cost. My original budget was like like 3k for food and $800 for a photographer. Oh, how wrong I was. For what we wanted and we did not want to give up, our budget is now 20k whereas originally it was 8k. But I don't regret it, I am extraordinarily in love with how our day is going to be. It's definately going to be the most magical day of our lives.

Once. We had an idea of what we wanted, fell in love with a venue that was slightly more than we thought but decided to go for it

Only once, when we realized it wasn't going to be possible for us to keep it where it was. But it didn't go up by much, just enough to cover the venue cost which is the thing we splurged on since we absolutely fell in love with it!

Multiple times as we've had to figure out what various costs were.

BUT in our defence, we've cut back on a lot, and have made mostly pragmatic decisions about costs.

Basically anytime a contract was signed/guests were added we took a look and made sure things were still lining up.
We've only changed it by 500-1000 so not major reworkings but we've adjusted actual values 3 times.

We did not really set a budget. Just going on the lowest possible price out of the options that are presented to us.
I am keeping track of how much we will possibly spend and am trying to keep it under that price

We never set a budget. So none lol. There are costs that keep coming up that we didn’t think of, so I’m sure if we had a budget we would have blown it.
