How long will your wedding be from start to finish?

It was 7.5 hours. Ceremony started at 4.30pm, everyone left at midnight.

Reception starts at 3 and everything ends at midnight.

About 9 hours including the ceremony, dinner and reception! I’m sure it’ll go by so fast

Hey! The formal part of ours is going to be a little shorter than average, about 6 hours. Guests will start arriving at 10am, the ceremony starts at 1030 and reception will go till 4. Our ceremony and reception are right next to eachother, so we'll be able to start the reception immediately after. We'll do a quick family photo session during the beginning of the cocktail hour and then head over to get the party started! The thing I wanted most for our wedding day was to go for a private date just my groom and I, so after the reception ends we're headed to a restaurant.

We're planning on doing sunset couples portraits during the "golden hour" around 6-7 and then meeting our vips for drinks after that!

I can definitely share our rough time line. We are having a short ceremony 1130-12, I plan on doing a receiving line before we start photos as we shuffle everyone to "cocktail hour". Back from photos by 130-145 to enter and start brunch with a thank you. We are having a buffet so we can be a little flexible on the end time but I would like to start speeches after all the tables(80 ppl) have cycled through once. 3ish. Cake cutting and a few dances at 330 We plan on having music and games until around 6, but we also assume people are going to want to start heading home or onto their next destination for the day. Our venue is not kicking us out at 6pm but I am planning on the photographer and DJ contracts ending at 6. We don't have a late snack planned. We plan on making a bit of a just married exit before the music stops to kind of signal the end of the party.

I definitely think this time line can be a lot longer for a bigger wedding or plated service. I still have to sit down with our reception vendor to hash out our final timeline as well.

Lol SAME!! We don't have to be ready until 2-2:30 so that's where our extra hour of sleep comes from.

However, I probably won't be able to sleep anyways so it's not lost time for me.

13-14 hours for me! Starting at hopefully 12:30pm and ending 1:30am - 2:00am however long the dancing continues for 😂

My makeup artist wants to start me at 8 am ughhhhhhh. I am not a morning person. But we are having a first look starting at 1 or 1:30.

That's the same for ours!!

When you factor in getting ready it goes to 16 hours. We're starting at 9am and going until 2pm with an hour to eat, get dressed, breathe, take selfies, etc.

10 hours. 3pm-1am

9 hours. Our ceremony starts at 4pm and the reception will be over by 1am.

8 hours! Ceremony starts at 5, we have the hall until 1/1:30. If you count our first look pictures starting at 2ish it would be a bit longer!
