Will you have a short period of time form engagement to wedding? Will you have a few years until your married? What were some factors that came into play with how long your engagement will be? Mine will be a year and a half time we get married. We got engaged Feb 17, 2018. We were going to wait...

Mine will be a year and a half time we get married. We got engaged Feb 17, 2018. We were going to wait until 2020 and decided on 2019. We will be engaged 1 year and 6 months.

Some factors were venue, kids, grandparents.

We got engaged in early Dec of 2017 and originally set a spring wedding in 2019 but then we had to do some major repairs to our house/driveway so we had to postpone till spring 2020. So that's like what 2.5 years, seems long but unforeseen circumstances!!

We got engaged April 10, 2019. Our wedding is looking to be May 30, 2020. It’s honestly been a long time coming so we didn’t see a reason to wait forever. My grandparents were very influential growing up so because they’re getting old, I didn’t want to wait forever either. He wants to start a family ASAP but things book fast so I said I needed at least a year haha!

We got engaged November 2017. Getting married August 2019 - 1 yr 9 months.
I wanted to wait until I was sure of what I wanted and not coerced into other people’s idea (my family 😩)of what my wedding should be. So with that we’re having an intimate wedding with 40 people. Exactly what I want

Def get that! We had just got our house before we got engaged and we wanted to wait to see how our bills would play out too before making budget.

We’ll be 25 months and 4 days! about 782 days total! We got engaged May 2nd, 2018 and will get married June 6, 2020. I’m just excited at this point that we’re nearing our engagement anniversary and the halfway mark! it’s gone by super fast so far, so i’m sure the next half will fly by

21.5 months. We didn’t set out to have a long engagement, but we wanted a summer wedding and weren’t ready to get married in 2018.

We will be engaged just under 2 years when we get married. I didn’t start planning right away. I just wanted to enjoy the engagement. We got engaged while on a vacation and needed time to save up money as well. We are mostly paying for our wedding ourselves so money was a factor. Also, all of our family lives on the other side of the country. It wasn’t a huge rush to start planning because of that also.

Same with us! Engaged November 2017. Bought a House March 2018. Getting Married August 2019. So a few months shy of a 2 year engagement.

I wanted time to plan, and didn't want to go in to debt over a wedding. And we agreed a house was more important! Plus with the market it was a good time to buy.

A little bit of time in between. We got engaged Feb 23, 2018 and getting married October 4, 2019. 588 days total! Or a year and about 7 months.

There wasn't really a big reason why we were waiting. I think the biggest thing was I didn't want to rush planning a wedding for Fall 2018. Planning for 2019 gave us a little more time to save and really research vendors etc.

I would say that it is a bit of a long time to wait for me and my FH - we will have been engaged for 644 days! lol, otherwise known as 1 year, 9 months, and a few days.

We decided to wait as we wanted to put buying a house first on our list. Therefore we got engaged at the end of 2017, bought a house in 2018, and will be getting married in 2019!
