We aren't yet...I made him tell me the plan

Since new years our wedding date is august 26th 2017

We were engaged almost a month after our first daugher was born, on July 25, 2014. So it'll be 3 years before the wedding. We ended up expecting our second daughter, then we lost my dad in an accident... so it's taken a while to finally get to a point where I'm ok enough to do this without him there. But it's happening. One way or another, Aug. 19th, 2017, I'm marrying this man and I know dad will be smiling down on us

We got engaged July 2 2017. My fiancee planned a very elaborate engagement party with our moms and sisters I was clueless never even suspected a thing

My fiancé purposed news years eve (technically New Year's Day) as he purposed a few minutes after midnight this year. Our wedding date is May 20th next year. 8 months to go.

Also, I was very surprised by him proposing.

We didn't start planning immediately- but it was close! My sister was married on Sept. 3, so we tried not to plan too much until after her big day.

We did want to start planning quickly though, because I wanted a summer wedding, and I didn't want to wait until 2018 to get married! I'm not very patient, so I wanted to get the show on the road!

I really like that we have open and honest communication as I feel it is important to have in a relationship. I was surprised as he kept throwing me off to what his plans were for my birthday (July 25). He proposed on my birthday which I will never forget.

She had no clue it was a complete surprise. To get her to the venue I told her my boss was going to have a formal event,she wasn't to happy that she didn't get to pick out her dress I only gave it to her the day before. She was shocked, and truly surprised

Did you find your suit and accessories yet? What's left to do now?

Over 3 years lol. We originally wanted to start planning right away and wanted the following sept. But life happened and we decided to hold off for a while due to finances. We had wanted to marry sept 2015, so that was weird to see the month cone and go with no wedding. We didnt actually plan anything, nor did we pay for anything. Except for my dress, I got that right away lol. We were gonna get on to planning about a year ago, but we found out we were pregnant. Now Aubree is 4 months old and we are actually planning now for real. Finally! We are super excited to be planning, and I'm happy he is involved in the process.

My fiance proposed June 2 2015.

Hi Emilie, the truth is that I starting making calls around to get an idea when to book for our vendors about 1 month prior to being engaged. My fiancé and I have been talking about marriage and he have me permission to go ahead since he stated that his intention was to marry me.

We got engaged on Christmas Day!

I wasn't nervous at all about the proposal. Planning a party for 600 people without Nelly's help or knowledge was difficult, but I had our moms and our sisters helping me out. It took 6 months to plan.

My Fiance proposed on Aug. 9, 2016.
