I just began day three of my engagement and I can't help but wonder what pace people usually plan at. I'm planning a Fall 2017 wedding and in two days I managed to:
- ask my bridesmaids to join my bridal party with a ring pop to pop the question in handmade boxes- pick out the bridesmaids dresses- purchased bridesmaids bouquets- purchase boutineeres - purchase flower girl basket- pick photographer - pick DJ- decide on invites
Start of day 3:- gown shopping appointment - possible venue selection
How long did it take before you started planning? When had you accomplished a similar amount of tasks?

Wow that is amazing!! You got so much done.. I started looking into things before we got engaged (I knew the proposal was coming) and this way it was easier to start planning. I booked most things in a couple months...my fiance and I have opposite schedules as I work overnights and he works days and so it was hard to find times to go meet with a photographer and dj and look at different venues - otherwise I would have accomplished most things in about a week or so! I like to be on the ball with things so I am not so stressed out closer to the date of the wedding!
