How long before the wedding did you take engagement photos?

September 16' is when we had our engagement pictures taken at a local park in Barrie. 11 months before the wedding date.

I wanted to lose weight before taking engagement photos... but do them before we sent out invites, so that I could put some of the photos on our wedding website. We did them in mid-July, halfway between the engagement in December 2017 and our wedding is next month. Worked out great, and we got to do some summer photos as we'll have winter wedding photos.

We didnt get a chance to take engagement photos.

We will be taking them this summer since we want it to show what we were like and our taste at time of engagement. It will be 18 months before

We did two rounds of engagement photos one in the summer because a friend of ours was building his portfolio and asked to use us as models for it and then we did professional ones in the fall. So our first ones were 2 years before the wedding and the other ones were about a year and a half prior. With our engagement being so long (because our venue was booked up) we didn't want to wait too long to get things started.

We did ours 8 months into getting engaged. BUT it wasn't a planned engagement photoshoot. It was my maternity photoshoot. I got pregnant and photographer thought it would be a great addition to the shoot. We are planning on getting another one when weather getsb nicer

We had our engagement pictures done 11 months before our wedding. However we juat found out our photographer won't be able to do our wedding anymore (for happy reasons!) So we are actually getting more pictures done with our new photographers in either may or june, were getting married in September.

We will be doing ours in may, we are waiting for nicer weather. In may we will have been engaged for a year and will be 3 months out from the wedding.

We’re aiming to take these a year before the wedding. Unfortunately our photographer is between Toronto and Winnepeg, so we have to wait a few months for her to be local.

Ours were a year before so we could use them on our invites which we wanted to send out early vs save the dates and invites.

We didn't really care about the season, but we did want a picture from the engagement shoot on our save the date. So we did our shoot about 10.5 months before the wedding.

We did our engagement photos in October 2017, and are getting married August 2018 - so almost 10 months in advance!

We took our engagement photos 2 and a bit months after we got engaged which was 7 months before the wedding.

We had our engagement session about 10 months before the wedding, and 11 months after being engaged. We specifically wanted fall colours for our photos, so that kind of dictated when we took them. Lol

We got engaged in November 2017 and will be having our engagement photos done the first week of April 2018. Getting married in October 2018. I love cherry blossoms and they're in bloom in early April in Vancouver.

We opted out of getting engagement photos.

We got engaged in july 2016, had engagement pics in september 2016 and getting married in May 2018.

We got engaged in October, did engagement photos in January and we're getting married in August. We used the photos for our save the dates that we sent out in February and it was included in our photography package thankfully.

We're doing ours in the fall, a year before our wedding. It'll be our anniversary when we do them, couldn't think of a funner activity!

We did our engagement photos last June/July. We picked that time so that we would have nice weather and so that we could hand out our save the dates at our stag and doe in August.

We waited for the engagement photos for a while and took them in fall, we are getting married in spring.
