I want to ask you about your wedding planning timeline - I'm curious to know how long before the wedding you crossed various planning tasks off your to-do list, or when you're planning to have the tasks finished. I sent the cards out 9 months earlier with 3 months to RSVP and keeping the 6 months for the shopping and final details to take care.

Due to the impending Canada post strike (back at the end of September), I chickened out and sent our invites out early. I was going to send them mid-October, about 3 months out, but ended up sending them 4 months out.

We are getting married in September and my fiances brother is getting married in June, so we are planning to send our invitations out just after their wedding. Our RSVP date will be August 1st which should be plenty of time.

I am planning on sending them out June 1, with an rsvp date of july 16, so 2 months before the wedding. That rsvp date gives me lots of time to finilaze numbers by aug. 1
