Your province will have rules on how early you need to get your marriage license so that it will be valid on your wedding day. Have you researched the date range required in your area? How long before the wedding will you be getting your marriage license?

    We are eligible at any point now but we plan to go get it in July when we have our day off to see our photographer.

    I will get mine the day (or as close to the day) as I'm eligible to get it. Don't want to run any risk of messing that one up! So around October 19th.

    3 months prior to the day and looked up costs based on the city.

    We have to get it within 3 months of the wedding so I'll probably pick it up late August/early September.

    It's only good for 90 days, so we haven't done it yet.

    We are picking up ours next week, so that's a little less than a month before. We needed to get my FH's divorce certificate first, you have to request that specifically as it is not included with the rest of the divorce paperwork. We have that certificate now so we can get the marriage license.

    Too early for the marriage licence, will probably get it about a month prior to the wedding.

    Funny that this is a question since I just had a major nightmare that we got married without our marriage license so our marriage was void!

    We're planning to do this 90 days before our wedding since I don't think it can legally be obtained sooner in Ontario.

    I haven't researched it yet, I hear some people get it a month before to a few weeks. I am defiantly following this post for advice!
