How long before the wedding did you buy your wedding attire?

18 months is when I got my suit that fitted perfectly since the day of purchase. Husbands wedding outfit was 6 months prior to the wedding and his suit 2 weeks beforehand.

We went for my big dress shopping outing in May (Mother's Day weekend), and found/ordered my dress. That was just over 8 months before our wedding date. It was supposed to take 6 months to come in, but it came in about 3 months.

I found my dress 10 months before the wedding but didn't get to take it home until 6 months before the wedding to get its final alterations.

Everyone can’t wait to take me dress shopping! I’m starting to look online to kind of get a feel as what style I’d like to go for ...probably going to wait a few more months until I start trying anything on

11 months for me, 10 months for bridesmaids, roughly 8 months for my fiancé... and we’re still waiting for the groomsmen to get their butts in gear 😩

I will be waiting until a year before to go shopping and hopefully I will find something!

My sister and my mom couldn't wait to go dress shopping with me. I finally agreed to go just to amuse them. The second dress I tried on I fell in love with and we got it that day. It was about a year before the wedding.

Bought it over a yr in advance dress arrived exactly 1 yr before my date

I will be buying my dress here in may/ June. And we will be getting his suit in the summer. So about a year in advance.

I got my dress 8 months before the wedding and we are still looking for his tux. Groomsmen tuxes are reserved and bridesmaid dresses will be ordered this week end!!

Aiming to have this done 1 year before the wedding.

My dress was purchased 11 months before the wedding it’s been 5 months and I’m still waiting hope it’s here soon! I bought my shoes shortly after that. My veil was purchased with the dress and I’m still looking for jewelry. My wedding is in August. My fiancé has picked out his attire but we were told he won’t need to rent it for another month or 2 so about 4 months before the wedding.

I got my dress in April 2017, and am getting married August 2018! I gave myself lots of time, which is good because I'm still waiting for the dress to come in!

I gave myself loads of time and went in September.. so about 10 months before the wedding. I wanted to ensure I had loads of time for the dress to come in.

I'm not a huge shopper though so found my dress fairly quickly and it came in CRAZY fast.. so I've had it since November. I'll get alterations done about 8 weeks before the wedding.
