How did you know your dress was "the one"?

The dress I chose was the first one I ever tried on 💖 As soon as I walked into the store, I noticed it right away and pointed it out as it was exactly what I had imagined. The sales person told me it was actually the first dress she selected for me to try on based on what I had described over the phone. The moment I put it on, I knew it was it. It made me feel like a princess and fit me like a glove. It only needs minor alterations at the bust and best of all, it's off the rack so it was nearly half price!

Same as the other girls. Didn’t cry but really did not wanna take it off. I even spent a week arguing for another dress, because the first one was about 2000$ over budget, but I really could not stop thinking about it

I was torn between two. The very first one I tried on I had liked immediately from seeing it on the hanger. The second dress I liked I didn't think it was my style but as I stood there in it I grew to like it. I took the day to decide and compared my smiles in each dress. The smile in the first dress seemed more genuine to me. And I realized I really wanted my fiancé to see me in that dress.

That was the first thing he said to me after the ceremony! It felt awesome because I was torn between 2 dresses and I knew that's the one he would choose between the 2!

I teared up and was just really happy. One the veil and belt were on and the bottom was spread out that's when it happened.

That's the best! I loved that feeling when I got my dress. I hope my hubby has the same reaction.

I had 74 dresses that I liked saved to my phone and out of the 74 had picked a top 5 of favourites. When I went to try dresses on my consultant looked through the 74 and pulled some, my mom picked one and my sister picked one. The second dress I tried on was my mom's pick and I knew immediately it was the one, I loved everything about it! After we bought it I looked in my top 5 and there it was without me even realizing.

I felt, and looked, like a princess :-)I tried on LOTS of really beautiful dresses, but they all felt/looked like something I would wear to a fancy ball or dinner. The minute I put “the” dress on I felt like I was wearing a wedding dress and I felt like a bride.

I went with my mom, bestie and MIL. As one bride said i too would have regreted not buying if left the store, it made me feel bridal, there was another dress everyone liked cuz they said it was simple and me, i did not want to simple on my day lol

I knew I would regret leaving the store without buying the dress - that's how I knew it was the one for me. When we got married, my husband looked at me and said that's the dress he would have picked for me if he had to choose one off of the internet. It was a win all around!

I went shopping with my mum, MIL and godmother. I think my dress was the second or third I tried on. I felt so comfortable and at ease in it and it was gorgeous! I couldn't stop smiling and my mum cried when I came out in it. Every other dress I tried on got compared to it so I knew it was the one.

I fell in love with my dress as soon as I put it on. I didn't cry, but I couldn't stop smiling and I didn't want to take it off. I went shopping with just my Mom and as soon as she saw me in it, she cried and said it was the one. I tried on a couple after just to see how I felt, and I just wanted to put the one I loved back on, so I did! That's how I knew

When I put mine on I didn't want to take it off, I felt sick to stomach and knew this dress had to be mine. I put down my deposit that day!
