How are you tracking your wedding spending?

Haha I just want to give props to everyone on this thread.. I’ve finally calculated everything out tonight and I’m not sure where the money is coming from but it’ll happen 🤣 I may or may not be an ambitious procrastinator 😅

Using WeddingWire to track. Trying to use family friends and connections to keep items under budget.

Weddingwire of course and word program to create sheets of categories.

The Wedding Wire budget tool was our key budget tracking item. We also used shared notes on our cell phones.

My fiancé and I started an excel spreadsheet of EVERYTHING we have spent money on so we can keep track of everything so that we don't go over our "scary number". Anytime we buy something or book someone we update the sheet.

Multiple budget planners, written out, Excel spreadsheet.. My wedding planner book, written down in multiple places.. I may be a tad of a control freak!

We used the budget planner on here to keep track of every last dime we spent. I then transferred it all to Excel, since I had to do some fancy math for a few thing.

We havent been tracking our expenses. We know roughly what it will cost and what our budget is. But weve only been really counting the major thing like venue, catering, photography etc. We havent included the decor we bought (which wasnt a ton as we have someone for flowers and decor rental), bridesmaid dresses/accesories, our mothers dresses, invitations, save the dates and a few other things as they are small amounts that didnt affect the overall budget.

Must definitely tracking expenses, i created a budget and there is no room for more than that.

We didn't really track our spending. Since we had such a small wedding and we had been planning it for months before we got engaged, we knew exactly what we were getting ourselves into

I have been using the wedding wire budget tool and it is a life saver!!!!!
