Help! who to tip

Congrats! I suffer from anxiety so it's kinda freaking me out and to top it off invitations are soooo expensive and I'm super picky oh and I need a cake lol

Don't panic! My wedding is only 2 weeks after yours and I definitely don't have all of those things done yet. You're ahead of the game!!

We've booked the church, hall, the horse n carriage bc I'm a Cinderella freak, the make up and hair, the limo(party bus), the photo and video, florist, decor , now need to find where to do our pictures also need my jewellery and the gifts to the bridal party have all my girls dresses 👗 I said yes to my dress 😍 The guys suits are supposed to be done in March I need invites and centerpieces ideas we have our DJ and I need my veil and jewellery and my mom and dad need there outfits for morn and night

Read your contracts with your vendors to see if tips are already included! You can also click "reply" at the bottom of our comments to leave a reply. That way we'll get a notification with your answer and will be able to continue the conversation. What vendors did you already book for the wedding? Did you already find your dress?

My wedding is on Sept 2 as well... We appear to be at the same stage in planning, still working on the invites, and his jewelry (don't stress we got this)... I will probably tip the DJ, makeup, and piper if my mom can find one with reasonable rates.

Don't panic! You have LOTS of time! They generally say that you don't need to tip vendors that own their own company (which seemed kind of weird to me) but we still tipped our photographer and officiant. We also tipped our DJ, photobooth, videographer, hair and makeup artists. You don't have to tip the venues. In our food and beverage contract, gratuity was included for our servers so we didn't have to tip them like Val said.

And DOC is Day Of Coordinator.

Hi sorry but what's a DOC!? Should have mentioned it's an Italian Catholic wedding! So there are no caterers also my florist and decor get a tip right but what if it's two in one ?

Caterer/servers? Do you have a DOC?

Also make sure any of the items you already listed don't include the tip already (I know my limo and many other items include the tip in their fee)

Otherwise I think you have it covered!

And don't panic, you still have a good amount of time for all those things!
