Have you booked your wedding venue?

We booked our venue before we were even engaged!

Yes! First thing we did, lucky enough!

Our venue has been booked for almost a year! that was the first thing we did!

It's been booked for about a year now. I wanted to get that nailed down quickly after we decided to start planning, because I wanted the date for everything else ASAP....lol.

We went to four different places, but this was the one we liked the most at the best price. Easy decision! :-D

Husband knew the perfect spot for the wedding and I was hesitant at the time of the cost. Second venue very close by was double the price just for the guests alone without the gazebo/food cost. The main course was to be paid for per person as it was misguided part of the 4 course meal complete at the second venue. They also wanted extra costs for drinks for children and adults for the whole evening as well as the bar after 3 hours.

We stuck with the first choice as they offered a lot and the price was amazing for it.

Yes, we visited 3 places and my FH was really set on Glen Abbey Golf Club. I knew he wasn't going to have very man strong opinions when it came to wedding details so the fact that he was very excited about the golf club I knew it was the right choice

We did! About a month after we got engaged I made a list of places to visit and we both agreed. I really wanted to get married in our city's uptown area and the venue is smack in the middle of it.

2.5 years before the wedding! It was our #1 to accomplish!

We did that about 2 months into our engagement which was roughly a year and 7 months before the wedding.
