Guest book signing

I need advise please. My wedding ceremony will be outside on a public park behind the reception hall. And after the ceremony, the guests have to walk across the small street to the reception hall for the dinner. Can anyone advise where should I put the guest signing book? Should I place a small table on the park for the guests to sign before the ceremony or should I place it inside the reception hall before the dinner?


Additional information, most guests won't be going inside the hall before dinner.

    My aunt had a similar situation for her wedding, she had it at both locations. People that showed up early signed it at the ceremony and then everyone else signed it when going in for dinner. She had either my aunt or grandma move it for her while she was off getting photos done. It provided her guests with something to do while they waited for the ceremony to start.

    I would put it in the hall beside your cards table, if all those guests are coming to the dinner. if there are guests you don't think are coming to the dinner then you could always set it up at the park off to the side and have a friend set it up/ take it back to the hall.

    Table at the reception hall! I find lots of guests will be busy socializing after the ceremony and it might get passed by.
    People will fill it out as the night goes on (or add to it as the drinks start to hit Smiley winking )

    The reception hall is a nice place! However, if you want it at your ceremony, my fiancé's brother got married and had it on a table on the way into the park. It was super nice! The lighting was beautiful with the natural sun shining on it! But it really depends on what you want.

    I would say inside your reception venue as then you don't have to move it and people have all evening to sign it.

    Reception hall is the best place to do it, so that it won't blow away or be exposed to the weather.

    I would suggest in the reception hall. That way people have all evening to sign it and your MC can announce that it’s there

    I would place it on a table in the reception hall. This way you will have a lot of people sign while their coming in to the hall and if they don't get a chance (or theres a lineup), they can come back at any point in the evening.
