What fabric and width of tie should groomsmen wear? Options are satin or charmeuse, and skinny or wide. I am able to match them to the bridesmaids dress colour (lilac) but their dresses are in chiffon and lace. Any opinions?

I think that the skinny ties look hipster so then it would be up to you if you like the look of that or not. We went with just a regular tie size and haven't picked out the colour yet.

Different fabrics can sometimes portray a different shade of the same colour. Because of this, my girls went with dusty lavender for their dresses and we decided to go with more of a violet for the boys ties as to not have to worry about the colour looking "off". They still work amazingly together but it doesn't look like they're supposed to be the same but didn't turn out right!

I think satin and wide would be the best look

I think the width of the tie is meant to math the width of the lapel on the jacket. That's what we were told while looking at suits.
