Groom and groomsmen attire

Allen, on December 3, 2018 at 20:47 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 20
Out of curiosity, my wedding is in 5 months exactly, when should the groom and groomsmen be going to getting fitted and ordering their suits?

My fiancé got his suit fitted and ordered last week, and we’re getting married May 2020! To be fair, he wanted to take advantage of the insane sale Moore’s was having, and he looks damn good in it! $1100 for the full ensemble down to $709!

I say let him figure out for 1 day to all that you do and still gp out with his friends for a drink at the bar when the home is where they need to be instead helping us.

They don't value how much time and effort we put into anything we do and somehow make it about themselves. I work, take care of 2 kids (dogs) and clean up after my husband at home. If there wasn't anymore to add onto the list.

My silly fiance is a sweat pants and shorts kind of guy. I was debating on just getting him fitted for one and just buying it so at least I know he's completely done haha!!

May want to make sure he has a suit unless he's good with his and fits.

Rental is nice for 1 day and needing the fit to be perfect week before the wedding.

My hubby is a major procrastinator, plus so many groomsman has to get done and they are procrastinators as well, I'm wondering if they need to go way ahead of time knowing them. It took almost a month for him to getting sized for a ring..

2 months beforehand to ensure the sizing and coloimur is available.

My huaband had to get a suit 2 weeks before our day and got him a black suit and a pocket square.

OMG Nooooooo lol. My FH is purchasing his tux (same store, same style, different colour than the groomsmen)... so we went in for his appointment in mid/late October, so about 3 months out. Plenty of time, and no headaches now! (Unless something goes wrong in alterations... eeee).

My wedding is January 19th. The guys went in for their tux fittings on November 17th. They'll be picking up their tuxes 2 days before the wedding.

They say a minimum of 6 weeks out... but I'd do it about 3 months out to be safe (then if anyone has to go in a week or two later, it's still plenty of time).

We used Moore’s too and they ordered the wrong colour pants for everyone! We picked up on Thursday and the wedding was Saturday! They did get the right ones in the next day but it was a little stressful for a bit. I’ve heard both good and bad about them—about equal in good and bad reviews.

We're going with Moore's and we love it so far! We're going to the Woodbridge location and dealing with the store manager, Michael. It probably depends on the person and the location. Don't totally write them off!

I would go sooner rather than later, too!

Oh this thread is making me feel better! Our wedding is at the end of May but I'm trying to get my FH to get everyone in by the end of the year... good to know we have more time!

You and I share the same wedding date, as we discovered - my boys are going in early February - that will give 3 months before the wedding for the suits to come in (which really only takes a couple days).

My future sister in law went to Moore's and it was a nightmare, so I have to research other places. I don't want the heartache like she did, they gave her the whole wrong tux and was rude the entire time...

I would suggest soon. It really only takes a couple days for them to come in but my husband waited until about 2 months and I was a little on edge about it.

I think you still have time, the timelines I'm using say 3 to 5 months for the groom's attire.
