Floral Arch or Floral Wall?

Cliodhna, on February 3, 2020 at 09:05 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 28

Which backdrop would you prefer to frame your ceremony? A dreamy floral arch filled with all your wedding flowers or a statement flower wall?

Which floral upgrade would you choose?

I guess it depends on what's behind the arch or wall. The wall would be better if you were trying to hide something. The arch would highlight a great view.

While both are beautiful, I'm definitely on team arch. Depending on the flowers used, I find flower walls can get really busy and distracting both for people attending and in photographs

On the one hand I love the visual of the full wall, but on the other hand I love the arch because it's meant for just enough space for the couple and it doesn't limit the outer edge of a picture

I think the arch looks better! I think if I were to have a wall I'd want it to be very long so it would be a complete backdrop

The arch. We did have some flowers on ours, but just at the top. Love the look of the fully covered one!

The arch. We're doing one but are reigning in the florals but I'd go all out if I could!

I think I would do the floral wall. It has more multi use throughout the night.
You can move it inside for pictures during the reception

They both look great. Depends on what is chosen, the decor can work. Indian weddings would use the floral wall since the set up is a mandap.

I prefer the floral arch. The wall is pretty but it's a little too "Instagram Selfie Prop" for me.

I think I'd rather a flower wall, the arch seems too busy and we've booked a place that has a beautiful built in archway

Arch. But I prefer them when it's just vines and greenery covering them with flowers here and there which is exactly what ours will look like, I'm so excited!

Floral wall - I love the arch, but I'm thinking you could do so much more with the wall and guests could use it as a background for pics without it being too "couple-y" of a photo-op.
