Designing our own invitations/basically all stationary & signs, creating centerpieces, doing table runners (cool constellation embroidery thing)...Yeah, I am an arts & craft nerd.

Making everything myself with some gold foil since I’m a graphic designer (menu, table numbers, welcome sign etc) I would love to eventually work in the wedding business!

At the time, I'd say my best detail back in the planning was the rentals being low costs.

Our guest book... we're doing a polaroid book so people take a picture of themselves, stick it in and sign

I was actually super excited when I found my shoes! Until then, every decision just came so easily. And, I hate shoe shopping to begin with!

So far... the fact that we’ve hired a food truck as our caterer

We went with the affordable suit instead of the designer suit, and will change the buttons to mimic the awesome detail of the designer one. In my search for identical buttons, I found a local button factory and discovered an entire industry I knew nothing about. It was like going on a school field trip.

I like everything so far. The photographers, the venue, the colours etc. I love it all!

My fiancés suit! He got it completely custom made. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks it will be ready for us to see and go for a fitting.

Our flowers... they're from a local farm and will be so pretty! The flowers I buy from there always last forever and I'm looking forward to paying the prettiness of them forward by donating them to our local hospice after our wedding.

I have couples that I am so into right now which are my dresses & veils (I will have 2) and my bridesmaids dresses.

Probably my dress, since it's the only detail that currently feels tangible and that I've seen almost "complete"!
