TeamDNA, on March 29, 2019 at 12:04 Posted in Beauty 0 17
Hey veryone, what way are you going for your eyelashes? I heard if you cry too much the false eyelashes can fall off but i dont know if i want to chance water proof. Thinking extensions are out since i sleep on my side and tummy more. What are your thoughts?

We do very light vegan false eyelashes at https://lzrdlash.com and we have MUA discounts which works well for wedding events. It simply means buy more save more. Also my advice would be to use South Korean Lash Glue as it is receives generally better online review for sensitive skin and eyes. Hope it helps

I find that a good eye lash curler is all that I need! I would see if that helps first as it would cost less but if your eyelashes aren't naturally long my friend got extensions and she loves them! Only problem is the price and how naked your eye looks like without them!!

I did false. It rained a lot, I cried a bit, and they stayed on. It was my first time wearing false lashes though. I don’t recommend having the first time be your wedding day! If it’s a new thing for you, try it out before the wedding.

I have hooded eyes and I had false lashes at my sisters wedding and they started to come off within an hour. They felt so annoying on my eyelids. I think it reallllly depends on what type of eyeshape if you want falsies. People with hooded eyes need small chunks glued on rather than one whole strip or it’ll fall off.

I don't wear makeup regularly (had to buy all new stuff for my engagement photos!) so I will be trying out extensions. I hate mascara so I am hoping that the extensions will be a good replacement. If they don't work then I'm not sure what I'll do. Probably nothing! haha

I'm getting false eyelashes - just had my makeup trial yesterday and bawled my eyes out when I saw the finished product with the tiara and the veil and everything, and the lashes stayed on, so I think we're good!

I have gotten extensions for over a year, and like Kelsie mentioned, they last me a solid 3-4 weeks. I’ll be getting volume lashes for the wedding in particular, no mascara needed. I too, am a side sleeper and no issues with fall out

For me I'm considering false lashes. Since my son was born my eyelashes have been super short! I used to have amazing long lashes that only needed mascara but now you can barely see them, even with mascara!! So I'll text out a few different false lashes and see what I think. Make that's something you could do too, test it out see what you think.

I'm doing a trial run with extensions for the next few months and then trying out new waterproof mascaras. I'd try and get 'natural' looking extensions ...

For me personally, I will just be going with a good mascara, simply because I want to look like my most natural self in my photos. But for you I would say do some trials and see which ones works/looks the best for you.

My makeup artist is putting waterproof glue on the false lashes.. when i did my trial i had to practically rip them off and i was using water and makeup remover.. crying will definitely not be a problem haha

I have been told by many make up artists to not go the extension route for the wedding! They're good for when you DON'T want to worry about makeup! As some it's actually not recommended to put mascara on them!

I am just doing regular fake lashes! If they come off... oh well! Will just touch up my lines and mascara! Im also wearing contacts and I dont expect to last all night with them... so even when my glasses go on the falsies have to come off as they hit my lenses and it annoys me so bad!

I’m getting extensions. I sleep on my side also and they still lasted me 3-4 weeks at a time.

    I miss my extensions!

I'm looking into lift and tint too! I'm not doing false eyelashes because I don't like the feel of something on my lashes/some glues irritate my eyes.

I'm also going to trial a waterproof mascara at my bridesmaid's wedding in June, hopefully it stands up to the waterworks/sweat lol! I have a good setting spray by NYX that helps with the sweat as well.

I agree with Casey! My friend has this done and it looks amazing. She swears by it and recommends to everyone.

Have you thought of a lash lift and tint? I have been getting this done recently so I don't have to worry about putting makeup on every day.

As for the wedding day, I am leaning more towards just fake eye lashes. I have worn they quite a bit because of dance competitions in the past, and even with sweat they stayed on (sometimes 10+ hours in a day) Good glue is key!
