Fabulous fabrics - what is your dress made of?

Chiffon! I got married in the summer and so was looking at lighter materials. I love the look of satin but didn't want to wear it in July!

Thaaank you My first fitting is next Thursday and I can not WAIT to take in my shoes and jewelry and see it all done up! I dream about my dress... lol.

I definitely had to look up my dress on the designer's website... haha. I never get the fabrics right. My dress is Stella York Style 6654, it is Lace, Tulle, and Regency Organza, with Diamante Beading. I got it in ivory, and the beading is silver, with a corset back. Horse hair hemline to add more volume. IN LOVE!

I definitely had no expectations with my dress fabric, I loved everything from satin to tulle to full lace.

I will also be wearing a fur shawl outside for some of the wedding photos (January), and it's a light grey to go with my wedding colours.

I definitely went in wanting an off white illusion wedding dress and wanting a train.
Well i got way off white so much that ita dusty rose, chiffon, a line dress with off shoulder sleeves. I love it though!

My dress is tulle and organza, and silver beading. It's pretty airy. I was sure I'd pick lace, but just goes to show you that you never know what you'll pick once you start actually trying them on.

Mine is satin.

I didn't necessarily expect satin. but I knew I wanted smooth/clean and no lace. but I was open to tulle, organza.

According to the website, it's a combo of lace, English net and tulle. It's an A-Line dress, so the skirt doesn't puff out too much!

Mine is mostly Tulle, but it's not a big, poofy ballgown! There are also Swarovski Crystals in the bodice!

Mine is Tuscan organza. I loved the way it helped the dress keep shape and also pulled everything in haha

Mine is a "Beautiful satin ball gown with sheer back , that has sparkles and pockets." - I don't think I expected anything really though. I don't really know the different types of fabric but I guess if I had to have guesses I would have guessed chiffon?
