Dress Duels: Sleeves or Strapless?

Depends on the dress, but I am not a fan of wearing long sleeves. Strapless or thinner straps/shoulder pieces.

I really love long lace sleeves but I ended up going with a strapless dress. Still love it tho!

I’m skipping strapless I won’t even look at a dress if it’s strapless. I did what sleeves originally but kinda liking the t shirt style or tank top straps

This is difficult as I like the look of both and it depends on the dress.

I thought I wanted sleeves of some sort. Then I found my dress and it was sleeveless. I couldn't find straps that seemed natural with it, so just went with the sleeveless!

In the middle.

I wouldn't say strapless because that just means making sure it is up and the girls are covered all the times, but i think sleeves are a little much. I would say straps!

I wanted sleeves at first, I definitely didn't want strapless....then my gown was perfect and strapless and I didn't care anymore because I loved the dress lol

Straps. Like others I'm worried about sausage arms, but I couldn't do strapless as I wouldn't trust it. My dress is currently strapless, but will be adding simplr straps from the extra fabric from the bottom

Straps. couldn't deal with pulling a dress up all night if it was sleeveless and would be way to hot in july with sleeves

Sleeves! My dress has beautiful illusion sleeves with floral accents

I have this fear my boobs will pop out in a strapless dress lol. I'm small chested which probably doesn't make sense to have this fear but I feel like they wouldn't keep the dress up or fill it out enough. I really like sleeves lots of different styles to choose from

I like sleeves but I havent seen any dress that wowed me with sleeves. However I do not want strapless.

Strapless! You can always add a slip on jacket!

I avoided sleeves just because, like Tori mentioned, i was worried about my arms looking like a sausage in a casing, but sleeves can be beautiful. I gravitated towards strapless and for me it worked, but I've seen many a strapless dress that isn't properly fitted and altered and boobs are popping out all over the place. It really depends on the person.

I hate sleeves for me (mostly because my biceps feel constrained) but I also can't do strapless due to my boobs! My ideal is sleeveless but with straps!

I avoided strapless. I didn't want to feel like I would fall out of the dress or be pulling it up all night long.


My plan was to have sleeves, my dress has skinny straps with lace appliques on them.

Sleeves look ridiculous on me but my all-time favourite dress (besides my own) is Kate Middleton's.

Neither? I HATE sleeves on me because it makes me feel like my arms are all sausaged up... but it looks good on others! And then I HATE strapless because how you have to pull it up if you have any boobs (unless corset in my experience).
