Has anyone had luck adding sleeves to a dress? The options are minimal with sleeves and I’m going non traditional with a coloured dress so I’m having a problem finding what I want. Has anyone added sleeves to a dress that already had straps? Good results? Suggestions? Recommendations for a kick ass seamstress?? Thanks!

    I’m planning to add sleeves to my dress as pictured here. It’s definitely possible, but make sure you find a good seamstress/dress maker who specializes.

    I think it can be done. Is there any hemming that will need to be done? Because you can take some of the bottom of the dress to use as sleeves.

    Can you share a picture of the dress? And the sleeves you want? It's definitely not impossible, maybe ask the place where you purchased the dress about what they suggest and look up all local seamstresses and go in and talk to them, show them what you want and see what ideas they have for you.
