Doing or Ditching: The traditional wedding party?

4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. 1 flower girl and 1 ring bearer.

Ditching. We will have our witnesses (our Best People) as our only wedding party.

I really didn’t care for a wedding party but FH really wanted groomsmen. So I told him he could have groomsmen and I wouldn’t have any bridesmaids. He was really adamant that I have bridesmaids, so I said fine.. and now have bridesmaids as well. I definitely will not have flower girl or ring bearer. It’s just more people during an already stressful day that we have to account for

Sort of 50-50. There was no active decision on ditching it. We have no ring bearer or flower girl but more because we don't really have anyone the right age for it, not because it was a specific decision.

Bridal party was very "you choose whoever you want and makes you happy" for both of us. My FH is doing a Best man with groomsmen (traditional), but I am doing a MOH with mixed-gender bridesmaid/man.

DITCHING!!!!

My fiance will have his two sisters stand by his side, so I guess Groomsmaid / Best Woman.. And I will have my two sisters be a Bridesmaid and Maid of Honour.

2 ring bearers, and one flower girl.

We are having 2 MOH ( my sisters), 1 best man (FH brother) and 1 best woman (FH daugher). No bridesmaid, flower girl, or ring bearer.

A little untraditional al, but wee haveinf best man, MOH, 1 bridesmaid and 1 groomsman. Then we’re having 3 flower girls ,cause why not? And a ring bearer!

I have to MOH, no ring bearers, and my
fiance has a groomsmaid, so definitely not traditional

Did it! We both had 4 total ( 2 each sides of grooms) Best Man and Maid of Honour.

We each have a best man and two bridesmaids.

In between on this one - we are having a Maid of Honor, Best Man, and flower girl, but no ring bearer, no groomsmen, and no bridesmaids.

Pretty standard except our flower girl will also be our ring bearer.

Ditching (or should I say "ditched"?) I'm so happy that we did to avoid the additional stress (and expense).

Doing! We got three each, him his best man and two groomsmen. And my maid of honour and two bridesmaids. He's just doing his friends though and not including his brothers. I'm including two friends and my cousin whom I'm close with

Doing, I was actually so excited to build our bridal party and see all of these special people so much on the day.

We're having a wedding party, but I have a maid of honour and a bridesmaid and he has a best man and two groomsmen so we have uneven numbers.

We had a traditional wedding party: even numbers, same genders on each side, matching outfits (although bridesmaids were same colour, different styles)

Ours is probably “non traditional”?

Only one MOH and one BM. My sister and FHs brother.

We have uneven sides at the moment (that might change..long annoying story!) But over all its pretty traditional.. guys on one side, girls on the other. MOH and Bestman..

Ours is more untraditional than traditional: best woman, uneven sides.

We weren't going to have a wedding party at all, but then decided it might be nice to have someone up there with me and opted to make his sister my MOH and my brother his best man. No bridesmaids or other groomsmen. Turned out to be just right for our small wedding.

We have an even number but, I have my son and daughter on my side and FH has his best friend and daughter on his side.

Mainly traditional, we'll most likely have 3 and 3 with no ring bearer or flower girl, and my sister as either an extra bridesmaid (junior bridesmaid) or flower girl

Doing, more or less. We'll have 3 and 3, except both my sisters will be MOH's. No ring bearer and our 'flower girl' will be our dog

We are kind of doing traditional. I have 2 MOH.

Ditching mostly. No wedding party but we will have our 2 sons as our ring bearers.

Kind of? We are having 5 and 5 so it's even - but my FH is having 2 Best Men while I only have 1 Maid of Honour.
