Does you wedding budget breakdown look like this?

It's mostly the same, but unfortunately, with our $15,000 budget, food/drink/venue is at about two thirds of the entire thing!

Photographers are expensive in Ottawa, at least the ones that I had checked out (investments begin at $2500).

As for invitations and stationery, I have been on Minted, working on different projects, the projected cost of all stationery (save the dates, invites, RSVP cards, envelopes with return address printing, menus, escort cards, table numbers, wedding favour tags, thank you cards) is going to be $747 (no taxes or shipping calculated yet) which is 5% of the budget.

We are looking to cut down the amount spent on beauty by me doing my own make up, and the decor is luckily included in our venue (for the most part). We are also thinking we will dave a lot on invitations by making them a DIY project.

As for most couples the reception food and drink will be the largest portion of our budget!
