Destination or local?!

Having a destination wedding can be an awesome idea! And I totally understand why you would consider that option!

Usually though, that will limit the number of people who can actually make it to the wedding... If you want everyone to come, maybe it's better to consider a location that's close for them. It will make them save on a ticket and may be able to continute more for the wedding.

I love the woodsy feel of the outdoors you want to go for. I love this Real Wedding that aslo really has this vibe

This one might be crazy expensive too- but it would be cool! I kind of thought because you are on the coast it won't be as bad!

Living on the west coast, I have no doubt you could find a venue you love if you continure searching! I wish I knew the area better to make a suggestion for you.

BUT, if you decide to do destination- have you thought about doing something different than the classic beach wedding? I found this:

Do you think you would consider a wedding in Japan? It is a long flight....but about the same as a lot of tropical destinations!

I think the main issue is budget, as we have a smaller budget it's hard to find one that includes what we want for the price we can afford, we are wanting outdoors and "woodsy" feel to it, and hoping to have it small, but we both have large families so bout 100 people haha

Hi Melonie, I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulties finding a venue. I hope you do find a venue. If I were to choose a destination wedding, I would choose Bahamas because of the nice weather, food and it fit the budget that I was going for.
