Day of Time Line

Courtney, on March 7, 2018 at 21:10 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 6

I'm trying to put together my day of time line and for the most part, no problem.

However, how do you schedule the photographer? I have them for 8 hours and I was thinking of having them start at 1:30PM. This is the time line I was thinking for them, but I wasn't sure if it will work?

1:30PM arrive where groomsmen are getting ready. Do groomsmen pictures.

3:00PM arrive at venue where bridesmaids are getting ready. Do Bridesmaid pictures and bride/mom pictures. The venue is about 15 minutes from where the groomsmen are getting ready.

4:30PM is our ceremony

5:00PM is our cocktail hour/photos

6:00PM is reception.

So I'd have them to 9:30PM for all the reception stuff. What do you guys think?

That sounds like a good timeline, seems like it will work smoothly. Just ask your photographer to arrive at whatever time you want her to start getting ready at then see wear it goes from there. Sometimes they will stay later with no extra charge which is nice.

That sounds good to me as well. Not sure how far the venue is from where you'll be getting ready, but just make sure you all have time to get to the venue after getting ready.

I think that's a good time line for sure. As after the 1st dance, mother/son & father/daughter dance pictures the rest of the reception pictures would look the same I'm sure.

Are all the pictures after the ceremony going to happen at the venue (or close by)? If so, I think it is a good timeline.

I also think 9:30 is a good end-time. All of the "formal" reception stuff will be over and they might have some time to grab a few candids during the dance (if you're having one!)

I think that’s a really fair timeline. I’m also having an 8 hour photographer but from 2-10.
