Well Happy Birthday!!

Awesome, we tried to do May 29th as well but the DJ was booked already. Sounds great!! We will do a short ceremony next year as well just so everyone can see that part too and more so we can share that with my grandparents and our wedding party.

We are doing May 29th We have so many birthdays (mine included.. its today actually! lol) and so many other wedding anniversaries in there, that we decided to nab the end of May. We are considering just doing a small little fun ceremony- just for the legality of it all; going to wear a different dress, save the vows, and just do the paper work.

I was bummed out initially, but am feeling better about it all since deciding to still go ahead with it

Yes I did end up having my parents there. Unfortunately my fiance/husband's parents have both passed away so we only had 2 extra people from what we were supposed to have but we had the space to distance and now that they have changed it to 10 people so hopefully that helps you. It was really hard to not have some people there, we did not allow my parents spouses to come for this.

I's sorry you are having to postpone too, but glad you two have decided to get legally married on your original date. We did have the officiant come to us for a backyard ceremony. What day in May did you postpone to? Ours is not May 15, 2021.

Congrats! That is so great! My fiancee and I have just made the decision to postpone our September wedding to May. We too are planning to get legally married on our original date. Did you have an officiant come to you?

Congratulations! Your pictures are gorgeous!! We went the same route (got married on a different day than our original date though as we struggled getting a license and didn't want to risk further restrictions/not being able to get one) definitely agree with you it's a great idea and then you can celebrate next year when it's safer to do so with everyone you love!
