Tomorrow is more cookies, more tumbler stages and trying my dress on every time Mum needs to tuck & pin & stitch something. It’ll be a big day of train building and I am soooo excited.

View quoted message We’re in Alberta, too. We decided in May that we were going to cancel our hall because we couldn’t count on the province opening up, even though it was promised. Herd immunity was hit May 2020 in Alberta, so none of us are concerned about gathering. We opted for private property and a tent, which was the reason for our numbers cut. Outdoor only works if you have shelter for all in case of bad weather!! I thank God that our families and friends are 98% truth seekers and actually research stuff so there are only 2 who’ve decided to get the shot and 2 guests who did for who knows why. I’m just praying that they survive the next flu season. My brother is a scientist & engineer and Dad has a degree in Agriculture and Genetics… Genetic priming is such a dangerous game. Russian roulette with your health!!
You have a long engagement!! It’s pretty cool when you can have patience and plan for your dream celebration with everyone. I’m so happy for you! Justin hasn’t proposed yet… 😂😂… even though we’ve now been planning our wedding for almost two years. My sisters keep asking if we’re engaged yet and I told him “—as long as we’re engaged before the wedding— and I have no problem stopping at the end of the aisle to wait.” 😂😂 I'm sort of hoping he waits until then. We would laugh so hard.

Tomorrow!!! Engaged in May 2018, postponed from July 2020 to July 2021, then decided to elope Hiking up a mountain to get married, very much our style haha!! Then doing a backyard party next year when things are more normal!

Thank you! The first time postponing hit the hardest since we were only a few months out and it was the very start of covid. The second time around hurt a bit but not as much as the first time since we knew we wanted to have the wedding we've been wanting since 2017 when we got engaged and wanted to have most of our family and friends there to celebrate with us. We're glad that we've postponed twice as well. Even though we live in Alberta and we're open completely, we're getting married in BC and they're open completely as well but weddings there's still no dancing and mingling at the reception. I have a good feeling about 2022 though!

Good for you! 70 people is a great amount of people! Our wedding is about 74 right now. I'm excited for the two of you!
