Coordinating the bridesmaids with the groomsmen

I am leaning the same direction as you, hoping to do various mismatched blues for the bridesmaids dresses, and my fiance would like the groomsmen in grey suits. My only question with this (maybe someone else can comment on this, or attach a real life photo of theirs) is what colour do you do the groomsment ties/pocketsquares in? If you have all different blues on your bridesmaids, do you just pick a random blue to have as the groomsmen accessories? Do you try to match up each groomsmen with a bridesmaid individual colour (so the groomsmen are also mismatched?). Any input would be greatly appreciated, I am stuck on this piece!

I'd be tempted to go for greys, just to have a little more contrast with your bridesmaids. Plus, definitely easy for them to wear again afterwards.

I have attached some Inspo from Pinterest. I personally think the grey and blue or navy and blue look good together. I think the navy is dark enough that it would balance well with the other blues.

I say let the guys choose whatever suit they want. Suits are very versatile and is meant to coordinate with almost anything a lady wears (unless they get something reaaaaally out there). I have a suit guide here if your FH wants some inspiration.

If they choose blue suits, they can go with a blush/light pink tie, a classic combo. If they choose non-blue suits, it's easy to coordinate with the bridesmaids by adding blue accessories. If they each get the same suit, they can also do mismatched blues ties like the ladies for added personality while maintaining cohesiveness. Tie it all together with greenery as the boutonniere and corsage.

When my friends got married, the bridesmaids wore different shades of blue while the groomsmen wore medium grey suits with blue ties, socks, and pocket squares. I think the colour scheme worked really nice. They were married overlooking a lake too, so it was a lot of blue, but with the bridesmaids wearing different shades of it made it work well.

Hey, we have similar colours! We're doing a lighter blue for the bridesmaids, and then grey suits with blue (not sure what shade) ties/accessories. We have one groomswoman so we're matching her dress (if she ends up going w a dress instead of suit) to the groomsmen's blue accessories and I have a bridesman and he'll wear accessories matching the bridesmaids!
