Guests often take some amazing photos, especially of moments that your photographer may not have been there to caption. Will you use a personalized wedding hashtag or an app like WedShoots to gather guest's photos? Or reach out after the wedding to ask them to share any photos they have?

Most likely online but probably not through wedshoots, they'll end up sending through WhatsApp and email and such

I guess old school. We didn’t have a hashtag. No one posted on social media but many emailed me their pictures directly.

Online. The transfer of pictures seems easier to store on the computer and USB as back up. Old school would take up space in the photo albums and printed pictures being pricy.

On-line mostly. It was not a high priority to get the wedding shots from friends as we are having 2 photographers, but I wouldn't mind an easy way to trade a few photos! I downloaded the WedShoots app, so, hopefully, people will share there

Anytime ive gone to a wedding i have sent the bride or the groom photos of them so they have them right after their wedding. im hoping people will do that for me lol

It will be most likely online... I don't think that there will be many - but for the most part people have been waiting for us to post them online but we don't have them back yet... Photographer said she will drop off a USB this week though!! Right before our honeymoon so we will most likely post them just before the new year when we get back.

We had a hashtag, but not many people used it. Some guests posted to social media without the hashtag but I saw them anyways. I find more people use Stories, so I watched those religiously for the 24 hours I could - would be neat if Facebook/Instagram made a "our story" feature where guests could post to their own story, but also a shared on DH and I could view/download (this might exist but I don't have a lot of experience with Stories).
However, we had a Polaroid guestbook so we captured all our guests there!

Many people that took pictures, tagged me in them as they were posting them.
Anyone else had sent emails to my parents with pictures that were sent to me

I'll just creep on social media to see if our guests post anything and steal any of those pics if I like them and I'll text like our parents and stuff to get any pics they've taken.

Probably a bit of a mixture. We have a wedding hashtag, but I'm sure some of our guests won't really know how to use it. Or they will just be taking photos and not posting them anywhere that they would use the hashtag.
