Chairs, chargers, or champagne? Which reception extra would you choose?

If I could get one thing it would be chargers. I can't believe how expensive they are!

None of these things are important to us but we will have wine on the tables with dinner. If anything I would think chairs but I like the chairs at our reception venue.

We rented chargers to help tie in the centrepieces. I was fine with the chairs at the venue and I was on a medication that I couldn’t drink so no need to splurge on champagne!

Out of those 3 things. mine would definitely be the chairs. I love the look of chivari chairs. but I wasn't paying 10 a chair to rent them. forget that.

but I do love the chair covers I picked. they are simple. but nice. they are the tight spandex ones, with ruching the whole back of it. so they are good.

Champagne! Gotta get that good bubbly! The cheap stuff ain't worth it!

Chairs, probably. I'm not a fan of champagne and I think half of the guests won't even know what charger plates are.

We don’t like chair covers and have consciously budgeted to avoid having to use them.
Included with this upgrade would be lounge areas throughout the reception and cocktail party venue so guests don’t just have to sit at their tables throughout the celebration.

CHAIRS. The one thing I cannot STAND are chair covers.... I find them so cheaper looking like oh hey hers a napkin for your chair to sit on because the actual chair is usually nasty!!! Sorry! Chair covers are my nightmare haha!!

I would have loved to have had champagne there - I don't think anyone would have noticed or cared much about chargers and the chairs were fine with the covers we used.

Can I choose something else? I would upgrade on the location of the venue. Renting room is expensive.

For me it was absolutely the chargers! I insisted on them - but only at a good price. I was able to buy them second hand for 1$ a piece, and I can easily resell them for that, so it's a free extra! My chairs are covered by covers anyways, and I don't care much about champagne!

I would add chargers. Not sure if we are going to have them or not, I don't like the useless cost but I am not sure if the table will look bare without them.

Chairs!! I don’t like the chairs at my venue - it makes it look so dark. Hoping we can find a decently priced vendor to have some brighter chairs

The chairs at our venue are so ugly we are covering them with a white chair cover, and tbh i'm not the biggest fan of how it looks but it works well with our budget so it'll be okay haha

Champagne! I don't even like the stuff and I would rather upgrade to that than anything that would just be for looks. We are having BBQ so we won't be having actual plates... unless I can rent some for super cheap... but if not then the charger plates would look weird with paper plates. As well we already love the chairs that are being used so no complaints with those!

One of the reasons why I'm not having chargers is because no one will remember them! I'm also keeping decor very minimal for the same reason. I would definitely upgrade my champagne though!

Champagne toast FOR SURE. I still stand by my opinion that extra decor can be a real waste of money... Most people don't notice it's not there... but springing for some champagne, or having a free signature cocktail... that's something more memorable/enjoyed by your guests.
