Ceremony and Reception: One Location or Two?

We will be having 2 locations! We tried to keep them fairly close as a lot of family is travelling.

We are doing one location 😊 The venue has a nice courtyard where we will have the ceremony

We are doing everything at one location as we have a lot of family coming in from out of town.

One location! Makes things much easier for guests. Ceremony at 4pm and reception at 6:30pm.

Two - our ceremony is at a church (It's important to my dad, and his mom). Our reception is at a community hall nearby.

Everything is in one spot for us! I didn't want to have to drive around.

The Gardens at HCP in Victoria, BC.

One property/venue, two separate spaces.
The Ceremony will be held outside in the courtyard.
The reception will be held inside at the Pavillion, and guests will have access to the grounds throughout the day.

The Pavillion will also serve as our rainy day backup.

2 locations as I wanted enough time in between ceremony and reception to get photos on the water (our riverfront you can see the Detroit skyline and we are huge Detroit sports fans).
but both locations are in the same city, about 15-20 minutes apart with the hotel in the middle of the 2. so will hopefully have a 3pm wedding. 6pm doors open. so its not too long in between for family either.

Two for us! We have our home church that our ceremony will be at and then a reception at a venue about 15-20 minutes away!

One location (ish)... We are doing everything on top of Burnaby Mountain (photos, ceremony & reception). The ceremony and reception are in the same building, different floors (upstairs, downstairs).

We are doing our photos first at a different location, but still on the mountanin, and then the ceremony leads directly into the reception, so I love having no travel time. We get to rent out the entire neighbouring parking lot, so it's easy peasy from start to finish for all the guests!

Two! Our ceremony will take place at a waterfall and then we head to a nearby golf club for the reception!

Luckily, we have only one location for guests to head to!

One location!

Less headaches for me. Also, I hate traffic in Toronto

My fiancé and I's ceremony and reception will be at the same venue.

We had one location which was amazing and convenient.

Two! Our ceremony I really wanted in my church, but our town is so small that the only possible reception place would be our community arena or the Legion so we had to go somewhere else!

Only one location for us! All at a camping resort with a dock to get married on and a few outside fire pits! I can't wait for the wedding!!

Also went to a wedding at Graydon hall. It’s beautiful!!

One! The rooms are right across from eachother. There will be a break between, but we are getting married in a hotel that’s inside a massive mall. A mall that has everything you could ever dream of. Haha. So people will be occupied lol

We have separate locations. Our ceremony is on the beach in the killbear park and then our reception is 30-40 minutes away! Which is really hard for planning our wedding day timeline !! But there is nothing closer to the beach
