Centerpieces

Maria, on March 7, 2017 at 11:25 Posted in Wedding reception 0 6

How much do people typically spend on centerpieces? I want a floral centerpiece with candles, to make the room moody and beautiful, just not sure what the appropriate spend on something like this is! Thanks

We're DIYing our centerpieces so it will be relatively cheap. The venue provides candles at the table, so all we need are Mason jars (super inexpensive), some burlap and the flowers. I've priced out our entire floral needs at $350. We're buying bulk and making our own centerpiece arrangments (15-20 tables) and bouquets (6), with some flowers leftover for the cake table, etc.

That would work really well! Set budget and style "outlines" and let the florist get creative! I feel like vendors probably enjoy being given leeway to create something totally unique.

I agree with Melissa's estimates. That seems to be a good ballpark. If that's too much, you can always say your budget is X amount and they should be able to come up with something in your budget with your colours as long as your flexible on the flowers they use.

I think a lot of the cost will hinge on what florals you are looking for. A small arrangement might start at 30$ a table...and can get really wild from there! The candles you should be able to source for lower costs, so maybe plan for around 50-75$ a table, depending on the flowers?

I would try sending some inspiration pictures to florists for a quote!
