Cakes, professional or home made?

Professional baker and perfect portions served.

We’re not doing a cake. I used to be a cake decorator but didn’t want to have to worry about anything the last few days! Also, some venues require proof of purchase. This just proves that it has been made in an inspected kitchen and therefore safe for them to serve.

We didn't have any cake at all. We did order a bunch of different desserts though made by professionals.

A friend is making mine which is nice and it is a fraction of the cost.

We're not doing wedding cake at all! If we were it would definitely be professional tho.

We are leaving it to the professionals. But if we couldn’t get the cake we have ordered, I was going to just do it myself. I didn’t want to pay an insane amount for something I can do myself. This way, I just have less to do :p

Professionals for sure it stresses me out thinking about making things so close to the wedding!

It was an instant mutual attraction. We started dating right away and clicked instantly.

We are ordering pies instead! We will have many different flavours for people to choose from!

Professionals for sure!! I've never baked something that big and was crazy busy for at least 72 hours before my wedding - I have no idea when I would have made and transported a cake!

What are you thinking of doing?

My sister is baking our 2 tier cake, and all our cupcakes. We don't want anything fancy, and my sister is an amazing baker. She and one of my bridesmaids are spending the two days before the wedding doing the baking and cake decorating. That's their job while the rest of us decorate the hall!

Leaving it up to the professionals! (I wish i was a good baker).

Technically both.. My Family cousin is an incredible Baker and pastry artist and offered to do our cake for free. So it's professionally done but also homemade as she works out of her own kitchen. We may make cupcakes and cookies and other desserts homemade too, probably get my girls all together and have a day of it. Saves TONS of money!
