Best places/ideas to buy ice cubes in bulk?

Hello, we are getting married next year at a venue near Calgary/Airdrie AB. We are having an outdoor ceremony, and tented reception. We are required to bring out own ice for drinks, etc. It is a pretty big deal for us to keep the drinks cold, so ice for coolers and for in the actual drinks will be needed. Am I best to just buy bags and bags of ice for the event, or are there other places I may be able to purchase the ice in bulk?

Talk to the companies that provide bagged ice to a convenience store. they may sell to individuals and deliver it for you. worth a shot.

Sometimes if you give them a lot of notice, McDonald's will do ice for you as well.

You can talk to a store and see if they can give you a deal if you buy a certain amount of bags. There is also the option to make your own ice if you have room in your freezer to store your own bags of ice, and the time to keep emptying and refilling ice cube containers.
