Are your rings insured?

Joey, on April 9, 2018 at 10:05 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 13

Do you have insurance for your rings? How did you arrange it? Do you have it for all your rings, or just an engagement ring?

I have my wedding band and engagement ring insured with Jewellers Mutual, I also have a lifetime warranty at Michael Hill for my set. My fiancé will most likely insure his ring under our home owners insurance.

Mine is covered under my home insurance. We had a minimum allowed amount to insure, and we still rent a smaller space, so our minimum insurance amount more than covers everything.

I do want to look into a separate, specific policy, once all 3 rings are purchased.

My engagement ring is insured under our renters insurance, but we'll need to get proper insurance for all of our rings once we get married!

My engagement ring and wedding band are both insured on my homeowner policy.

Not yet but will once we move in together. Neither of us has tenants insurance for different reasons but we will get it once we have a place of our own!

We ensured our rings. All our rings are under their own policy attached to the house.

If you own a home, it falls under your home insurance. Just make sure you coverage is high enough!!

Oh hells yes! I wouldn't let my fiancé bring a ring home until it was ensured. He picked it up from the jeweler, went straight to our insurance dealer, insured it and then came home to propose!

That is on my list to do and i should do it before we go on our honeymoon. I will be adding the insurance though my home insurance. I think it's a matter of adding a rider to my current insurance to include the value of all our rings, but most specifically the engagement ring.

If you don't have home insurance, i'm not sure how you go about getting your rings insured.

No insurance because I'm a procrastinator! I plan to get my engagement right (and eventually our wedding rings) insured.
