Our wedding was close family and friends included co workers we are close to. There was one that wasn't supposed to be invited and my husband wanted her there and not me. That was a horrible mistake on him not to respect my desicion.

No, we invited who we wanted there with us, not because we got invited to their wedding. Our thinking is that inviting someone because you then expect to be invited to their wedding is simply an IOU, not an invitation.

Yes, but also anyone whos wedding i have attended recently i am close enough with that they would have made the list regardless of my invite or not to their wedding
