Are you DIYing your cake topper?

Likely not having a cake topper... I find them a bit tacky and we want a simple, modern cake.

We are going to be buying our cake topper. We want a monogram one and it was something that I would rather buy than create.

I'll be making my small cake. I bought the cake topper.but I'll be putting some of my sola flowers on top of the cake. The bottom will have a large silver ribbon with a smaller red ribbon and a snowflake brooch to add some sparkle. I'll be using a glitter on the icing to try to make it look like fresh snow.

Nope - we bought ours! Its really cute.

We're just having a sweet table with a variety of desserts with no actual cake, so we don't need one. I would probably buy one though if we were doing the cake thing.

I've got me eye on a cake topper from Etsy that says "about damn time" haha, we're probably just going to buy this one

Our initials are the same haha! Most of our friends tend to say his name first when talking about us but for everything wedding related it's mine first because of this!

I was going to diy this originally, but then I saw this one on Etsy and loved it, just super simple but pretty and helping a local business felt good too. At first I almost told the owner to do the initials and S&M then re-thought that and asked her to do M&S instead😅😂

I don't think we're doing a cake topper - just a smattering of fresh florals on it.

No cake topper - we had a Korovai instead of a traditional cake so we didn't need one.
