Alterations - how many appointments did you need?

It's still a ways off, but I am guessing going to be in the 2-3 range. We're doing a few changes to the dress itself, so she'll need me there for pinning and marking. There's going to be at least one after that to make sure everything is square fit-wise with the changes. Depending how far that is out....might need one last one closer to the date to ensure a fit.

When I was getting my dress they told me that typically it takes about 2-3 months for fitting. That's if it's not a rush order. I hope this helps!

I will probably end up with 3 appointments. I've had one to evaluate things, and the dress is with the seamstress now. The second one will be next weekend to make sure everything is looking good and make any adjustments, since I'm having the neckline adjusted. I'll likely to have a third one to have a final fitting.

I’m not sure yet! They say between 2 and 3. My dress still won’t be in for another few months - the wait is killing me!

Two-one to drop it off and one to pick it up! Fit perfectly.

I had one and when I went to pick it up it needed a little tweaking so ended up being 2 in total.

I’m going to need 3 total (or so they say). We will see!

Three for me- first one I took my dress to the seamstress to explain what I wanted to have done to my dress. Second one I tried it on after she made the changes and discovered the cap sleeves were too big and the hem on the bottom was an inch too long. A third should be all I need. Try it on again and hopefully everything is perfect!!!

None yet. When my dress comes in I've been told it'll take 4 - 5 to get it all done, mostly because I'm adding sleeves.

I have had one so far. This was just a chance for the seamstress to see what needed to be altered, and pinned everything.

I have one more coming up the first week in August to see everything taken in from the last appointment.
Then I believe there will be one more after that to make sure everything fits the way it should closer to the date, and once she has completed all the alterations!

I’ve done 4 already. And I’m assuming 2 or 3 more before the wedding.

I haven’t booked any. My dress fit me absolutely perfect. I am having straps added on though, so I will have to book that soon.

One for me - all I needed was to have the belt attached and nothing else, I'm so happy!

Oh gosh, I haven't booked any yet - but my dress is in! I've tried it on once before and it fit pretty good? I guess I will book one for end of August and a final fitting in September?

I go for my first one later this month (the 24th). I'm also trying to lose some weight before the wedding. So depending on how much is lost, there may be a few alteration appointments.
