All about the venue - How far from your home is your venue?

Our venue is 10 hours away and it's in my summer home (growing up)

Two hours - we live in Toronto and the venue is in Belleville, Ontario.

FH and I live in Vancouver, BC and we're getting married in Windsor, Ontario. We're about a 6 hour flight away . My parents live about 30 minutes away from our venue. I'll be staying with my parents a week before the wedding. FH is staying at an Airbnb a block away from the venue.

FH and I both live in Florida, but will be getting married in Southeastern Ontario as our families reside here.

About 1.50 hours away from downtown Edmonton. We picked a place that is close-ish for easier transport for most guests (and us!) and we loved loved loved our venue at first sight

We picked something close since a) we live in Woodbridge which has more wedding halls than anything, and b) we didn’t want to have to drive far for our wedding.

Everything is all in one and 10 minutes from my house.

We’re getting married an hour away from our current home, however it is my hometown. We chose it because it was thousands cheaper than doing it in the big city we live in and most of my family is still around the area. We are debating a shuttle back in the evening but haven’t decided... has anyone done this?

About 20-25 minutes depending on traffic.

Our home is about 30 minutes- we booked cottages at reception location though

Same town, about a 15 minute drive away

Our venue is an 18 hour drive or 2 hour flight from our house lol! It's in my hometown (about 15-20 minutes from my parents house).

30 minutes! super happy about that.

It's a 4-hour flight from where we currently live hahaha.
It's about a 15-minute drive from my parents' house and about 20-min from downtown Ottawa.

Our ceremony is about an hour and a half from my house, and the ceremony venue is an hour from the reception venue! the reception venue is only 20 mins from my house!

Pretty close! About 40 minute drive from home.

Our venue is about a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from where we live. Nice and close so I can annoy our coordinator with multiple visits

It’s close to 4 hours. We have to drive to the ferry terminal, wait for the ferry and then it’s about 1.5 hours after the ferry. We chose it because a)it’s beautiful and b) all our guests are coming from Ontario and we want to show them the province!

The church is 15 minutes and the venue is maybe 35-40 minutes away!

Ours is an hour on the dot from where we're living now. My parents will be renting a house 10 minutes away for the week of the wedding. For most of our extended families, it'll be a couple hours away.

Our venue is about 20 minutes from our house. And very close to every other guest as well

The drive was about half hour from the house. It was in an isolated area considering beside Georgian College in the middle of Innisfil.

Our venue is 45 minutes from the perimeter and about an hour from our house.
