A Few Of Our Favourite Things - Date Night

I must say I don't have a favorite kind of date night, because any date night with my fiancée is my favorite regardless of what we are doing / where we are going!

We have 2 kids who have some health challenges, so it's difficult. Our "dates" usually involve getting out to yoga together or sneaking away for lunch. We also sometimes make a date at home after the kids are in bed.

Escape Rooms, but that's usually a larger group and we go just us to either supper out or a scoop of ice cream.

We try to do as much as possible, we go for wings a lot, we make 3-5 course meals, go on hikes, movies and we love board game nights. We definitely like to mix it up whenever we can and most weekends we plan a movie to watch together at home.

We don't really do "date nights". Our work schedules are annoying so we only get 1 day off together. I work 12 hour shifts so I'm usually exhausted on our day off together. Our dates usually include hiking and/or going out for dinner.

We love going to a sit-down restaurant and enjoying a nice meal

Since we only spend about 3 nights a week together, we might go catch a movie, watch Netflix, or make dinner at home.

We try to have a good variety when it comes to dates but our favourites are when we get to relax and just spend time together whether that means going for wings, watching a movie at home or going on a hike.

Our favourite date night are concerts! We have a list of people we really want to see and probably see a show 2-3 times a year. In between those its all depending on our mood we like to go out for drinks and apps or make popcorn and catch up on tv we missed.

Escape rooms are our thing! We love doing them. It’s been a while now since we’ve been but they’re so fun!

Quality Time is our love language.
We do off season date nights by taking random sick days to check out gallery or museum exhibits, renting bikes or exploring other neighbourhoods.

We have a date day every second Wednesday. (we work together and both get this day off). We always grab a coffee and tea at our favourite place and spend the day doing basically anything together! Either trying some new food, painting, movies, book shopping and reading, or just staying home and soaking in the tub or watching Netflix!

We live together, so I feel like every day is date night. Cooking dinner, watching TV or a movie.

When we "go out" its either to Sushi, a local Italian place, or just for drives down the parkway

I guess it depends on our mood!

Some nights we wanna go out and either try a new place or go to a favourite spot. Other nights, we just want to stay in and watch a movie.

Anywhere in the world - Disneyland. We’re planning our 3rd Disney trip coming up in just over 5 weeks! For everyday, I would say our go to date night is to order in food and snuggle on the couch with our dogs.

I love going out and trying a new restaurant! A night on the town is my favourite that's followed by maybe a stay at a hotel or something different!

Date night used to be trying new restaurants or getting together with friends for drinks but now that we have 2 small kids it's usually netflix after they're in bed

We love trying new restaurants- on the 15th of every month we go to a new place we have never been!

We are very extreme here! From fancy over the top dinners and nights at the orchestra, to comfy pjs pizza, beer and Netflix. I appreciate and love both types of dates equally!

We haven’t gotten the chance to go too many times this season, but we enjoy going skating at Nathan Phillips Square.

These days, I prefer something out of our ordinary routine. Going out to eat, to the movies, for a couples massage.

We used to do date night once a month but since our son was born we've only been out once. So these days date night is cuddling on the couch, watching a movie after we put the baby to bed lol

Most of the time, we Netflix and Chill after work. Date nights for us is grabbing a dinner, going on a mini-road trip, or going to the movies.

When we DO go out we enjoy going to the local pub to see live bands

Our date nights are usually either a movie out or an order in and netflix. We'll go out for dinner to a nicer restaurant if it's a special occasion, but I have more of an appreciation for fine dining than my FH so we don't do it as often.

We probably would go for wings and beer, or bowling and beer seems to be our new favourite thing! Something low key and fun!
