2 Matrons of Honour

Julie, on July 22, 2018 at 10:04 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 14
I'm wondering if anyone else has 2 MOH's? I couldn't choose 1 over the other so I choose both. Both Girls were touched and I can sleep at night. Now to decide who does what...

Both my sisters (2) are my Maids-Of-Honour, its totally your wedding, and plan how you want!

I had a Maid of Honour and a Matron of Honour. I also couldn't decide and we are like a little friendship triangle so it worked out!

Thank you for sharing. I just found out today that 1 of my MOHs started a group for the Wedding party which makes me happy. MOHs are not even Facebook friends so knowing that they have done that feels great! I was thinking 1 will hold my bouquet and 1 will fix my train 👰

I was once a co-MOH. The bride said these are the tasks and you decide who does what. We decided to all plan the shower, bachelorette, and stag and doe together, I was going to say the speech and she would stand beside the bride during the ceremony and fix her train. It worked out well!

It's your day! You do what you want! 2 MOH's is totally fine.

In terms of dividing the "to do list"... I'd say let them brain storm/plan together in terms of your shower and bachelorette... and for things like signing the marriage license or making a MOH speech, maybe get one to do each thing?

I had 5 friends as bridesmaids and had my sister as my maid of honor and my sister-in-law as my matron of honor! You can definitely have two MOHs!!

My friends actually did more typical planning stuff, since we've all been in each other's weddings and know the deal! Smiley shame

It is your wedding you can do whatever you want! There are so many different roles (maybe even too many) the MOH need to do that splitting it between two girls will be beneficial for both you and them!

So I only have 2 bridesmaids (my sister and best friend) and I also couldn’t choose but went with no MOH title.

Pick the rolls that suit each persons personality. For me 1 is signing as our witnes but hates public speaking. The other is over the moon excited to do a speech so she will do the speech for both of them.

I loved reading your message! My Fiance is only having 1 Best Man. Sigh. I have 1 extra bridesmaid compared to his Groomsmen so Best Man will walk with both MOH's on his arms. I'm glad I'm not alone 😁

Girl I do!! Everyone was telling me I can’t. It’s our wedding we can do whatever we want. I have two best friends so they will both be matron of honor. Nothing wrong with it as long as you and your fiancé agrees. Now he will have two best man too.
