The night is over, your guests are leaving, and all you want to do is sweep up your spouse and start your life as a newly married couple. But somehow you need to get your decor, gifts, cards, extra favors, and other personal items out of your reception hall. Have you hired a cleanup crew? Will your venue staff or wedding planner take care of everything? Have you designated a cleanup team to pitch in?

    Thankfully this is included in our package for the venue to be in charge of cleaning everything up. We just have to show up the next day to pick up all the boxes of decorations again. They even ask us what we want thrown out so they will only box up the things we want to take home again. I'm so happy about this lol

    Venue, vendors and coordinator will be in charge of the take down while I sleep my drunkness off haha!

    I think our venue does most of the tear down but we'll wrangle family/friends to help with our own stuff.

    We are responsible for anything we bring in. As of right now how much stuff we will be bringing in is still in the planning part. My sister and brother in law and other family members will be helping with the take down!

    We have the venue booked from Friday-Sunday so a group of us will take care of the cleaning on Sunday.

    Our venue takes care of most of it and any extra decorations we bring in we will have family clean it up

    Our venue will do the clean up of decor for a fee but we will likely just pack it up - there wont be that much

    Our venue provides most of the clean up, but anything we want to keep, we need to take care of it. There's a few people we have that will help out with that!

    After the wedding we will clean all the needs it right away but we are allowed to come back the next morning to finish it all off. I think we have till noon the day after. So family and wedding party are on clean up duty and we will help the next day a bit too.

    We have to have everything out that night, so we will be cleaning and packing everything up then. We are going to put as much stuff into my Dads car as possible, and anything we can't fit in there (his car is small) FH and I will take home in our Uber with us. I think we will have a total of 7 plastic bins and 3 cardboard boxes of stuff so it shouldn't be too bad....

    It was really important to me that people didn't have to stop the party at a specific time to do clean up, so we extended our rental to Sunday at 6 pm. That way people can stay and party until whenever, and then we have set cleanup to happen Sunday at 1 pm. Smiley smile

    I had created a list of everything that was ours. My friend had agreed to store it at her place for the night. We snuck off and they cleaned up. They ended up leaving everything at the venue, but it was all packed up for us. Another piece of advice: have boxes! My friend didn’t and we were shoving everything into bags, which was not the nicest, especially with some of the breakables she had!

    Our reception is from 4-9 and we have to cleanup our stuff at 9. Luckily, we won't have much stuff to take down. I find this a bit annoying, because we will be up early, busy all day and want to drink. I can just imagine drunken people trying to take down wedding decor.

    Our venue provides clean up. We just need to make sure that we take all personal items out with us. So the rest of the favours that may be left, our cards, and any other personal items that we bring for decorations

    Super easy: The venue provides a clean-up crew. We just have to show up the next morning to pick up the leftover decorations.

    Our clean up was easy as having family (youngsters) helping clean up the table of name cards & guest book. The centerpieces were also cleaned out and lights saved aside as packed away in the box. My brother helped with breaking down the backdrop. Head table was easy enough to put away in the bag with proper boxes.

    Some things the vendors take care of like the linens and flower stand rentals. As for the decorations that we bring ourselves, we will just pack them up at the end of the night with the help of our bridal party and parents. probably just shove it all in the bed of my mom's truck and deal with it later.

    Our coordinator and bridal party will be taking care of the clean-up, but I'm honestly all for just dumping the stuff in the trash after. I don't want any extra centrepieces or favours or anything else hanging around.

    We have to be cleaned up night of 😭 ill be relying on our wedding party and family to help with this. also, any rentals will hopefully include set up and take down, which will make things easier
