My partner and I have been together for 6 years now and are going to tie the knot this coming September! We met at a restaurant where we both were working, and bonded over the two of us growing up in Ottawa. Our first unofficial date was skating on the Rideau and eating Beavertails before going to the Corel Centre to watch the Sens beat the Pittsburg Penguins. He drove me home after that and we decided that we would get together again in the new year once we got back to the city, where he came over to my apartment, cooked me dinner, we watched the Birdcage, he kissed me for the first time... and the rest is history
