Cameron and Katina first crossed paths during their high school years at Regina Mundi Catholic College. While Cameron was in grade 12, Katina had opted for an additional year, known as a victory lap, in grade 13. It was during this time that Katina, finding herself alone, reconnected with an old friend named Jessie, who kindly invited her to join their lunch group. Little did Katina know that this simple act of inclusion would lead to a fateful encounter with Cameron. Joining them for lunch became a daily routine for Katina, and it wasn't long before Jessie playfully hinted that one of their friends had taken a liking to her. Katina's guess was spot on: it was Cameron. Initially, Cameron was a bit reserved around Katina, but she couldn't help but find his shyness endearing. After a few months, Cameron mustered the courage to ask Katina out on a date, though Katina admits she was close to asking him out herself. On November 24th, Cameron made the formal request, and their first date took them skating at Victoria Park. Their initial outing was marked by nerves all around, but as they glided across the ice, Katina began to feel the chill without her hat. In a sweet gesture, Cameron offered his own hat to keep her warm. Eventually, Katina stopped, returned the hat to Cameron, and in that moment, they shared their first kiss. Now, twelve and a half years later, Cameron and Katina's love continues to thrive, with Katina still finding Cameron irresistibly cute. Despite enduring periods of long distance, their connection remains steadfast. Following Katina's completion of her university studies, she made the decision to move in with Cameron, solidifying their bond even further.
