I am 50 years old, this is my second time, but first actual wedding. I am not a small woman more like a line backer lol. I have 3 girls and 3 grandchildren. I am the kind of person that looks after every body else so planning thus wedding is hard.

Wedding details

My wedding is a small gathering of our friends and family. There won't be any kids at the reception as we are both grandparents and would spend most of our time looking after them. We are having it at the beautiful golf club in town with a close friend officiating. My colors are lilac and lavender my flower are the same with purple and white hydrangea. The worst thing that has happened so far is my first dress try on. Nightmare story. Grant and I are paying for the entire wedding, hopefully without going into debt. My favors is going to be a candy bar. I will have cupcakes and a small cutting cake. This has been quite a journey, we started this a few years ago but I was diagnosed with melanoma after my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and now my mom was just diagnosed with lung cancer. Mom told us to keep going on with the plans.
