I guess the amount does depend on the dress (material, size, etc). I am glad I found a groupon. Otherwise, it would have been like $400.

I got quoted around 500-600$ For my dress. I only checked one place though so maybe another place would be cheaper but from what I hear it is quite expensive! I think you'd be fine wearing it again. Honestly I am the clumsiest person ever and pretty much every time I eat I spill something on me. I wish I was kidding. I was super careful at the wedding as to not ruin my dress and I didn't spill anything stain worthy lol. The only dirty part is the train from dragging on the ground as we had an outdoor wedding. Maybe just carry one of those tide sticks around with you haha

Oh gosh! Is cleaning it that pricey?! 😬 I have a second reception the week after so I am nervous I am going to get a stain or something!! I definitely want to keep my dress too though!

I am planning to use my dress for a baptism outfit for my future children. I may incorporate some aspects in a quilt, but still contemplating.

I am keeping it! I am very sentimental and anything with meaning I have to hold on to! I enjoyed dressing up in my mom's when I was a child. She kept hers until my parents moved provinces. I would consider selling it if the opportunity came up, but I won't actively look to sell it.

Me too, the chances that my daughter would like my dress are pretty slim and I would never ever have worn my mom's or my grandmom's so I am happy to let go of it.

Same here on letting future daughter choose her own dress. I don't want to hang on to it on the off chance she wants to wear it.

Those are my thoughts exactly and I know that if I had a daughter, I'd want to give her the freedom to choose her own.

I'm still debating selling it. We don't have any room to store it and it's not like I'm going to wear it again.

I think I'll probably keep it for my daughter. Even if she doesn't wear it for the day of her wedding we could always take it apart and make something out of it. It's all lace so you can really do whatever with it!

Yeah, in that case, it makes more sense to keep it.

I love my dress so so so much. I want to get rid of it though because it takes up room and I will never wear it again so it seems pointless to keep it. BUT I found out how much it will cost to clean it and it's like half the price of the dress. So I'm just going to keep it lol
