Your seating plan software is not racially inclusive.

Hello Wedding wire,

Whilst we love your tools such as the seating charts. I wanted to ask why are we all white/white Asian??

There not any option to add brown (like myself) or black guests.

Could you please add options to correctly represent guests?

It looks discriminative and also abit racist.

The update went live today! Now when you go to your seating chart or guest list tool you'll see that guest icons only represent a guest's age, and don't hint at gender or race. Several more titles and icons across the site were changed today too in order to be more inclusive Smiley heart

Hi Frederick, I know a colleague of mine answered your email about this already but I wanted to answer here too. I'm sorry about this, it's something we've changed on our US site but it still needs to be done here in Canada, so we've escalated the need to hurry on this to our developer team. One trick to get around this, if you are setting up your seating chart and don't select the gender of your guests, the icons will remain greyed out. Once we get this update completed there will only be icons that represent whether the guest is an adult, child, or baby - as these age details are usually helpful for caterers to know because of different meal types/prices. I'm really glad you're finding the seating chart useful and hope this shortcoming hasn't been too frustrating.
