Would you wear black at your wedding?

I wanted to do a gothic elopement because of the halloween deal popup weddings was offering for 3k, but I want to keep it winteresque, so I'll stick to white. ^_^

I love the style! But I wouldn't dare wearing black at my wedding...

Pretty, but would be hard to pull off if it isn't your style.

For some choosing a black or a coloured dress is a bold choice and some can pull that off. However I have an ivory dress with gold and would never wear black on my wedding day. I think it is a solid choice for bridesmaids though, but not the bride

My colours are sapphire blue and silver.

She went for a short dress maybe knee length and it's all black with some bling on it . She will look pretty

That's great Terry! I remember there used to be a time when wearing black at a wedding was considered as mourning or grief... which is definitely not a good sign for a wedding! I'm glad this trend is showing something different. It's going to be really stylish for your mom to wear black! What will her dress look like? Will it be short or long?

I personally would not wear black at my wedding but that is a beautiful dress.

I personally would not wear a black dress but I love the bridesmaids in black it give a sophisticated look. My mom( mother of the bride) will actually be wearing a black dress and I love it !

Now a days any color is fine to wear for the wedding. I personally would not wear black because it does not look good on me, makes me very pale and washed out.

I've seen dresses with black in them and I love that! But I don't think I would personally do ALL black, I can wear a fancy black dress to any (fancy) event. I'm all for doing your own thing though, so if that's your thing, then own it!
