Would you rather... have a tented or open air reception?

I would rather tented because of bugs and wind.

I would rather a tented reception, just incase it rains!

Tented just in case it rains! That is why I will be having the wedding reception under a pavilion that seats 250. We hope to have the ceremony outside on the dock on the river but we will see about that.

If I had to absolutely choose, I'd go for open air to look at the stars.

If I had to choose, I'd go with open air so long as the weather was cooperating.

I think they can both be beautiful. It would really depend on the season. Our weather here is so unpredictable so I would likely choose a tent.

I'm getting married in January, so it goes to show how outdoors-y I am for our wedding... haha. But I looove the twinkle lights in the open air photos... Looks like the outdoor version of our venue. In Vancouver you can never guarantee good weather, not even in August, so I'd always have a back-up... because even if it is beautiful and sunny, you'd want shade options for your guests too.

Hahahahaha ideal world - open air, realistically though I live in Vancouver. It rains 9/12 months of the year. If I was doing anything outside, I would need the tent or a marquee or something as a Just in case.

Tented for sure! Weather and bugs and leaves and... things! I want some coverings just in case!
